Digital Marketing Executive

The Digital Marketing Executive shall be responsible for marketing and market development initiatives at BMIT Technologies, particularly focusing on our digital efforts. This will be achieved through the planning and execution of initiatives aimed at growing BMIT Technologies’ position in the markets in which it operates.

Key responsibilities:

  • As part of the Marketing team, contribute towards developing effective marketing plans, with specific focus on inbound marketing initiatives;
  • Plan and execute initiatives aimed at strengthening the company’s profile and retaining optimal search rankings;
  • Generate/coordinate content and resources (e.g. articles, blog posts, eBooks, whitepapers, infographics, guides, etc.) to drive leads, site visitors, awareness, and other important metrics;
  • Create campaigns to showcase case studies and customer success stories;
  • Conduct or coordinate market research and benchmarking exercises, gain customer feedback and gather competitive insights to frame unique selling propositions for our offerings;
  • Lead efforts on required marketing and sales collateral, including presentations, product FAQs and data/features sheets and various client communication pieces;
  • Manage the digital marketing channels, including:
    • Social media accounts and presence;
    • Corporate website;
    • Newsletter;
    • Marketing Automation tools

The ideal candidate:

We’re looking for an individual who has both marketing flair as well as the right aptitude, interest and knowledge in IT.  You will be expected to understand trends in IT, Internet and other technologies which form part of BMIT’s offering. The ideal candidate will have strong digital marketing skills, the ability to develop and present compelling communication across different channels and possess excellent personal communication skills.

In addition, you'll have to be willing to step up and take responsibility for specific projects, using your initiative to drive a successful outcome. ​ A marketing / digital marketing or communications degree combined with an interest in IT and technology is required.  Ideally, you will also have experience in a B2B marketing environment.
